The Vltava (or Moldau) River flows through the heart of Prague. Walking along its banks on a sunny day, you don't know whether to stare at the river or at the ornate facades of the renovated townhouses that line the riverside streets.

The best way to discover Prague, when we were here the first time, was on foot. Rediscovering the city follows the same rules: wander through the Old Town; get lost in a maze of shopfilled alleys; and stare in wonder at the architecture.
